The Wellensian Consort

The Wellensian Consort has rapidly established a reputation as one of the United Kingdom’s leading chamber choirs. Its members met whilst singing in the choirs of Wells Cathedral School and were reunited by their conductor, Christopher Finch, to celebrate the School’s 1100 year anniversary in 2009. Since their debut concert, they have received great acclaim for the quality and vibrancy of their performances and have performed to a series of rapturous audiences throughout the country. In November 2010 the Wellensian Consort was awarded the coveted accolade of Choir of the Year 2010.
